About & Studio Mission

If you want formality, check out my performance website. Here, we have fun serving the online and Philadelphia community.

Since I was a little kid, singing has been my absolute joy and how I feel I communicate with others. Musical theatre was my first love and then grew up with music in the church. Through wonderful teachers and their guidance, classical music became my passion. After receiving my bachelor of music degree in vocal performance from the University of the Pacific, I moved to Philadelphia and graduated with an artist diploma from the Academy of Vocal Arts. Since 2018, I have been working full-time as a professional opera and concert soloist. Notable credits include appearances with The Metropolitan Opera, The New York Philharmonic, The National Symphony, The Houston Symphony, The Colorado Symphony, and The Dallas Opera. You can also find me on Spotify and anywhere music streams, especially the award-winning recording with Eroica Berlin/Pan Classics as the title role in Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeri.

My teaching mission is simple: let’s have fun and let’s be safe about it. Lessons are tailored to student goals. Students have come to me with music genres such as musical theatre, classical, rock, jazz, R&B, American standard, Japanese pop, Korean pop, gospel, and sacred. Whatever you bring to me, I will help you navigate based on a healthy singing technique. I won’t push opera on you, I promise!

I believe that music lessons should be affordable to all. Music is universal and should be accessible. Whether you want to get better for a performance or even singing in the shower, I’m here to help you.
